About
Igor Borovikov in 2023
Born in 1964 in Shuya, a city in the Ivanovo region in Russia, Borovikov’s academic background in engineering, computer science, and mathematics set the foundation for his future ventures. He graduated from the Moscow State University in 1986 and completed his Ph.D. in physics and computer science in 1989 at the same university.
In 1993, Borovikov founded Softline, starting with just a team of 10 people. From this humble beginning, he has led the company through an impressive expansion. The journey that began with Softline evolved into the global enterprise known as Noventiq, which began trading under the trademark in October 2022. Borovikov’s leadership was instrumental in this transition, guiding the company to its Initial Public Offering (IPO).
Today, headquartered in London, Noventiq enables and facilitates the digital transformation of over 80,000 organizations across a comprehensive range of industries. It does this by connecting businesses with over 600 vendors, delivering proprietary solutions and services. Its global presence spans nearly 60 countries with significant growth potential, including India, Malaysia, and countries in the Middle East.
Noventiq, under Borovikov’s guidance, is positioned at the center of the digital transformation megatrend. The company’s value is three-fold. Firstly, it connects the solutions and services of vendors with the business requirements of customers. Secondly, it ensures the right solution is deployed in the right way to solve the right problem for customers. Lastly, its own portfolio of methodologies, services, tools, and product IP allows it to create additional value for its customers as they transform or operate in an increasingly digital economy.
